Which forms are listed?
Folate, iron, vitamin B12, zinc and vitamin D3 each print a named form on the label.
Every nutrient in Complete Prenatal Pack is listed with its amount — and, where the label names one, its form. This page sets out what those forms are, how the formulation was developed with clinicians, and what third-party testing covers.
Folate, iron, vitamin B12, zinc and vitamin D3 each print a named form on the label.
Four form decisions, each with the reason the formulation gives for it.
Heavy metals, potency, purity and physical quality, checked batch by batch in accredited labs.
Five questions worth putting to your own clinician about form, amount and timing.
Our medical and naturopathic doctors screened many prenatal vitamins on the market and ensured ours were packed with everything they identified was missing from others.
Each daily pack holds three separately labelled components. Because each one carries its own supplement facts panel, every nutrient on this page can be printed with its own amount and its own form.
A nutrient name and a nutrient form are two different pieces of information. Folate is the nutrient; calcium L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate is a form. Below are the four form decisions this label makes explicitly.
Folate is printed as 400 mcg folic acid plus 600 mcg calcium L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate. Iron as ferrous bisglycinate chelate. Vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin. Zinc as zinc bisglycinate. Vitamin D3 as cholecalciferol.
Rather than choosing one, the panel lists both folic acid and calcium L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate, totalling 1 mg. They are different compounds, and both amounts are printed separately.
The formulation was developed by REIs together with fertility-focused naturopathic doctors, who reviewed the prenatal vitamins already on the market and identified which nutrients they found missing.
DHA comes from algal oil rather than fish oil, and vitamin D3 is listed as vegan cholecalciferol. The capsules are vegetable-based, and no artificial dyes, fragrances or flavourings are listed.

Whichever prenatal you end up choosing, these are the questions this label raises.
For dosing and timing, talk with your clinician.
A nutrient can be supplied as more than one compound. Folate, for example, appears on labels as folic acid, as calcium L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate, or as other forms. The nutrient name tells you what it is; the form name tells you which compound is in the capsule. This label prints both for folate, iron, vitamin B12, zinc and vitamin D3.
Every batch is tested by independent ISO 17025-accredited laboratories against four standards: heavy metals, potency, purity and safety, and physical quality. Products are manufactured in GMP-certified facilities, and formulas are licensed by Health Canada with a Natural Product Number on the label.
It was developed by REIs — reproductive endocrinologists and infertility specialists — together with fertility-focused naturopathic doctors, who reviewed the prenatal vitamins already on the market and identified which nutrients they found missing.
The panel lists two folate compounds in one serving: 400 mcg of folic acid and 600 mcg of calcium L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate, totalling 1 mg. Both are printed separately so the split between the two forms is visible.
Yes. The DHA is from algal oil rather than fish oil, and vitamin D3 is listed as vegan cholecalciferol. All three components are vegan and the capsules are vegetable-based.
The product's own timeline runs to a fourth stage, "Through Birth and Beyond", which notes that pregnancy draws down nutrient stores and that birth asks more of them. Questions about your own levels afterwards are worth raising with your clinician.
This page explains how one formulation was built. What suits you is a decision for you and your clinician, and the questions above are a reasonable place to start.
